Both in summer and in winter time there are exciting things to see and do for (almost) every interest, on the spot, close by or a little further away.

Almost impossible we consider putting together a package in advance. In the Yukon it happens all too often that plans are jeopardized by the weather situation. It might be too windy and the lake too wavy to go out fishing, the day might be too hot to climb on White Mountain or you might find the ice rink on the lake blown over and thus skating impossible.

You don't want to book disappointment in advance, do you?

What we recommend is this: just brainstorm in advance what your interests are, what you would like to see and do. Then start planning when you are here and when you see what the weather and the forecasts look like. Of course we will give you the support you need!

Little Atlin Lodge offers:

- Reservation of a rental car from Whitehorse airport or downtown

- Or: transfer Whitehorse - Little Atlin Lodge - Whitehorse, shopping tour in Whitehorse included

- Excursions by car (in case you don't rent a car) to points of interest of your choice

Summer activities:

* Hiking, for example up to White Mountain (spectacular 270 degrees viewpoint) or on the old Atlin Road (nice views of Little Atlin Lake)

* Canoeing, on Little Atlin Lake or at Snafu Lake (small lakes connected by creeks) - we rent canoes

* Discovering Little Atlin Lake by power boat - we rent boats

* Fishing "in front of your doorstep" (from the dock or from the boat) - Yukon angling licences available at the lodge

* With a little luck: swimming "in front of your doorstep" (or any time in the Aquatic Center of the Canada Games Center in Whitehorse)

Winter activities:

* Snowshoeing (use of snowshoes complementary)

* Cross country skiing on Little Atlin Lake or on the trails on Marsh Lake, 20 minutes from here (please bring your skiing equipment or you rent it in Whitehorse)

* Ice fishing "in front of your doorstep"

* Soaking in the Takhini Hotsprings (20 minutes north of Whitehorse)

* Maybe skating "in front of your doorstep" (or any time on the public skating rink at the Whitehorse Canada Games Center where you can rent skates as well)

Little Atlin Lodge helps to arrange:

* Horseback riding (by the hour or by the day)

* Guided hiking

* Excursion by float plane (for example flying over the impressive glacier world in the Atlin region)

* White water rafting

In winter time:

* Dog mushing (by the hour or by the day)
