After a cold start into 2008, winter is good to us so far: Not too cold, lots of snow and sunshine. Let some pictures talk:

Thank you Thomas and Christina for those pictures taken in July/2007. The difference to the current weather with temperatures of minus 40 and colder couldn't be bigger.

Once again we are looking back on a very good summer season - even though summer itself was kind of lousy: too wet and too cold. Luckily the weather did not affect the good mood of our many guests!

Our new floating dock was greatly appreciated and vividly used - we ourselves just loved it - until severe storms with high waves especially at the end of September showed that a floating dock is quite vulnerable. OK, let's build it all over again next spring; this time we are planning on putting it on posts.

You can see that we are far from being bored!!

A big thank you to all our guests, who make it possible for us to keep on running our "little lodge"!

Thank you as well for sending us your pictures; we are happy to show them after our own shots.
